March 2010 Newletter update

Greetings Friends and Supporters:
As the song goes ‘It has been a long journey. I have been blest’. It has been a long 2009. We
just took in five pastors in our Men’s Home. We thank God for the opportunity to be able to help
young men. As you know, my nephew Jonathan is now in the 82nd Airborne in Afghanistan. He
is alumni of the Men’s Home with a ten year sentence, now off of probation, and on the front line
defending our country. We just placed four women from off the streets. One woman is an RN
on drugs. We need to start our own Women’s Home. We have three families ready to come and
cook with us. We helped a lady years ago. I met her at Brother Roloff’s. She came and helped
organize our school and now she is a supervisor at a mission of the Women’s Division.

Our legal issues are over Praise the Lord! Read our legal page for update.  Please pray
about Bill 911. If it passes in the House of Representatives, Bill 911 will destroy the opportunity
to help the 13 to 17 young people.

As news for Karen, she has been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. The Dr. has put her on some new medicine which seems to be helping some. We appreciate so many prayers for her behalf!  My MRI showed up negative in my right shoulder.

BrotherJack is asking all his pastor friends and supporters, we need your help in the worst way. This
last year cost us a lot. By the grace of God, we will continue on! We need for you to help take
$25,000 due on the table now. I need for each church to take up a special offering for the ranch.
If each supporter would send $50 to $100 or more now. We still have two homes. Although we
have down-sized a lot, the bills are still there. I have had you twice in fifteen years to do this,
please pray and ask God. Some dear friends sent $1,200 and $600, because they care. Our lawyer
bill was nearly $48,000...all paid!! I need each church to send an extra gift as soon as you
can. I’ll tell you in our next newsletter. Karen went to pay on a $3,800 bill from the hospital and
someone had paid it. I went to get the Open-MRI which cost $4,500 and was only charged $780.
Thanks be unto God! Brother Jack needs to clear our ranch bills. Let’s attack 2010 wide open
for Christ!
We are at Winston-Salem, NC at Pastor Ron Baity’s church. This afternoon I have a meeting
with Pastor Tom Cochrane at 3:00 p.m. to meet a young lady, 31, who needs a home. We are
heading to Ohio for several meetings for the month of March and then to NY and Michigan in April.

On the Front Line!
Jack and Karen Patterson
